Did you know that the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London) also contains the National Art Library?

Open to the public.  And with proof of identity, you can receive a borrower’s card for 3 years.  My idea of a camping holiday – set up tent in it, reading books by torchlight with a mars bar and thermos of very good coffee… it might work.  Perhaps if I began by starting a rumour that it miiight be haunted and flitting figures miiiiight be spotted at night, occasionally……
