What can I say? I went to the Scottish National Gallery, browsed the post-Impressionists, galloped through the Glasgow Boys and in the end fell for… a calendar in the gift shop by an American Graphic artist, Janeen Koconis. Two years later, I still have the calendar although obviously out of date use, because of its carefree, bright, bold pictures. I can’t bear to be parted from its joy and thought.
Which you can see at her website: http://www.koconewyork.com/
(just be aware that it opens with music)
