Thing of Beauty is a little habit I formed – finding something visually stunning to tip into the work email box of a friend with a stressful job.  Something to brighten the workday.  It would take only seconds to glimpse, but hopefully contribute joy and delight to the viewer, and re-energise for the work of the day.

And so I pass this tradition on to you, the reader.  I shall tip something beautiful onto this blog from time to time, which will hopefully have a similar good effect on you.
