Note to self for christmas 2017: take a tip from what one creative friend did this year: seal envelopes with stickers beautifully chosen.  (Cut out paper cuts on the tongue!)  And add that personal touch.

Also – today I posted my last parcel before Christmas, calmly at a rural post office.  No need to wait.  Served immediately.  An improvement on a few days ago, when I WAS the queue!  Yes, one whole person ahead of me being served.  Compared to the mayhem last year of queueing in a fraught town post office, crammed full of people with better things to be doing.  I shall look for rural post offices in future for all Christmas posting.  So much less hassle and time, and no problem parking.
