Michal Rovner
Her work looks like a screen of writing but then as you look closer, you realise it is rows of people walking – and this is not animation, it is real people moving. Michal believes that footage of a real event, even done poorly, is more powerful than an excellent animation of the real event. She is concerned with the timeline and breaks and cracks in time. She likens it to a “seismograph of history”
